Having lived in four different countries, and three different continents, has put me on a path of self-enquiry and a search for a home, which is beyond our separating identifications and definitions.  For me, this home lies in the breath, in silence, in music and dance, in my voice, which hums to the strings of the tanpura, in my hands when they form ceramic bowls.

These creative processes in combination with silence have strongly inspired and guided my personal and professional development.  Exploring their relationship for many years, I have learned that creating and listening are one and the same.  On the path of listening, the tanpura has been my greatest teacher. On the path of contemplation, the clay bowls have been an inspiration.  On the path of love, the flower beds and the wild nature surrounding them nourish me and on the path of the spirit, the silence and the breath are the healers.

Granted the opportunity to live, as well as to work, in POCI, I take care of and preserve the beauty of this place with the purpose of sharing it with others and learning from the wisdom that it imparts. Consequently POCI, itself, has become the most relentless and uncompromising teacher on my path of looking into the self.  It is for me a “lake of mirrors”.
